Farmers and Politics
India is an agriculture based population country but still the farming community, almost a majority population in our democratic system, not able to create a uniform Pan India lobby in Indian politics to take care of their interests strongly and honestly. At this global place of professionals, I invite sincere views, critics, feedback and suggestions?

I personally feel that even though India is an agricultural dominated nation yet with the emergence of the service sector particularly I.T, the farmers need to create awareness among themselves by taking the initiative to aquaint themselves with these latest techniques.Entering into politics & demanding their pound of flesh will not resolve the issue.Instead doing something creative like following the principle of drip irrigation which the Israelis have so successfully adopted will naturally make agriculture a feasible & vibrant induatry.
